Jill Vizas
Jill Vizas oversees the on-campus activities of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, including student recruitment and admissions. Jill graduated from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before coming to 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, Jill worked as a paralegal in Washington, D.C. and as an attorney in San Francisco. Her office is located in the Landau Economics Building, Room 251, and she is able to answer any questions about the program. Please schedule an appointment to meet with Jill.

Adrienne M. Jamieson
Professor Adrienne Jamieson, the MaryLou and George Boone Centennial Director of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, is a political scientist who specializes in American national politics, public policy and the media. She is an affiliated professor in the Public Policy Program and frequently teaches one of the core seminars in Washington where she designs the curriculum, recruits local faculty and arranges students’ internships. She also serves as the on-site academic advisor, providing assistance with internship papers, honors theses, plans for graduate school and careers in politics, policy and the press. She is a recipient of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s Dinkelspiel Award for her contributions to undergraduate education.
Suzanne Miller
Suzanne Miller directs the overall administration of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington. She oversees the staff and student affairs, and helps with internship placements. Before coming to 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, Suzanne served as Senior Legislative Analyst for the Economic section of the Embassy of Japan. She also worked as a Legislative Director and Legislative Correspondence Director for two members of the Utah Congressional delegation on Capitol Hill.
Chantal Quintero
Chantal Quintero (she/her) serves as Internship Program Manager for 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, working closely with student participants who seek to pursue their educational and career goals through an internship in the nation’s capital. She cultivates strong partnerships with a broad range of organizations and fosters connections between students and alumni for mentorship opportunities. Chantal has nearly two decades of experience and knowledge in this field, having worked in Washington, DC, with the University of California Washington Program's Academic Internship Team as a Senior Program Administrator. She also served in advancement and alumni relations positions at UC Irvine and George Washington University.
Lori Carter
Lori Carter manages 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington’s financial affairs and works with a variety of vendors to ensure our building is running smoothly. She previously held the post of finance associate at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington. Before coming to 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, Lori was the Office Manager for the Office of the State of Texas.
Zachary Smith
Zachary Smith coordinates and oversees the programming at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington, including scheduling events and liaising with program stakeholders. In his role, Zachary fulfills both administrative and residential duties, working directly with students. Zachary completed 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in Washington in Spring Quarter 2023, interning in the US Senate, and graduated from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in 2024 with a BA in Public Policy.
